BugNET Pro has a fully featured wiki engine built into it. This wiki engine is leveraging the open source WikiPlex engine, the same engine that powers Microsoft’s open source project hosting web site CodePlex.
For BugNET's implementation of the wiki, each project has its own instance of the wiki so that documentation, user guides and other wiki text can be stored and secured for each project individually.
When you create a new project, your wiki is setup automatically and a getting started home page is created for you as shown in the screenshot below. Just access the wiki but clicking the new wiki menu option from the menu when you are accessing a project or
from quick links for a project on the home page.
The page info displays details about the current wiki page such as the current revision, who modified the page last and the data. It also displays a list of revisions with the ability to view each previous version.
Another feature of the BugNET Pro wiki is the revision history, allowing you to review any past edits to the page.
To secure your wiki, we have added two new permissions View and Edit so that you can configure which roles can view and edit the wiki. These can be set by editing a project, selecting the Role Permissions tab and then editing or creating a new role.
After a user role has the Edit Wiki permission, you will see an edit content link on all wiki pages. When editing a page, a textbox is displayed to edit the content. While making changes, the page is updated in real time so that you may preview your changes
as you make them.
