Ensure that your connection string specifies the providerName parameter shown below.

thanks for replay, I am not using SQL Express. I have 2012 SQL Enterprise edi. used the following config as suggested in setup guide.

<clear/>
<add name="BugNET" connectionString="server=XDBSer09;database=BugNet;uid=bugnet;pwd=plzwork" providerName="" />
</connectionStrings>

This has changed since the release of 1.5, I will go update the installation instructions now to fix that problem.
