I've been following the install directions, and I have added the Network Service as having full control of /Uploads, /App_Data, and Web.config

When I connect to the Install.aspx page via http://www.[site].com/BugNet/Install/Install.aspx I get a 500.19 error:

Config Error: Cannot read configuration file due to insufficient permissions
Config File: \?\C:\Inetpub\vhosts\[site].com\httpdocs\web.config

What am I doing wrong?

I should note that I cannot put bugnet at /inetpub/wwwroot as this server uses virtual hosting, so that multiple domains (about 5) are running on the same physical machine and I want bugnet to be on one of them.

If you are not using the default inetpub/wwwroot folder then IIS needs specific permissions to the the folder.

This may help with that setup - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981949

You may have to search around for a resolution to this as it is IIS specific.

IIS_USERS is already setup as having full control over folders and files.

I'll try and find some IIS specific solution though, thanks.
