No email notifications

All of a sudden we have stopped getting email notifications they were working fine before. On the Application Configuration page I can successfully send the test email under Mail/SMTP sections. Any idea what could be going on??

Yes, 1.0.187.0, worked on the 0.9xx release :)

There is one known issue regarding notifications that was discovered after we made the release.

The following 5 pages need to have Async="True" set in the page directive at the top of each page  <%@ Page  Async="True" ....  %>

  • ForgotPassword.aspx
  • Login.aspx
  • Register.aspx
  • AddUser.aspx
  • EditUser.aspx

We will roll out a new release tonight to fix this officially.

There was an issue with emails becoming queued in 0.9 and sent eventually as a group.  This was resolved in 1.0, but the above issue exists in 1.0 that will be resolved very soon.

I'm running 1.0.187.0 (just updated on Friday) and the notifications seemed patchy.  After applying the code fix above, things are much better.

One difference from previous versions is that if anyone edited an issue, they got a change notification email - now only those people already set up to receive notifications for the issue do so.  Not sure if this is better or worse!
