I am trying to install BugNET inside my website server. I get the following error while accessing BugNET install page.

Kindly help.

BugNET Configuration Error

Access to the path 'D:\Hosting\8973495\html\bugnet\Config\Backup_201230280330\' is denied. 

BugNET has file upload capabilities for attachments. These features require custom security settings so that the application is able to create and remove files in your website. 

You need to give the account that the application in IIS is running under write permissions to the config folder to let BugNET make a backup of the web.config.  This account is usually NETWORK SERVICE on IIS7 or ASP.NET on older operating systems.

My hosting provider do not allow that. So I installed it on a VM and added CNAME on my website.

Its working good now.
